Hi! My name is Laura Varney and I’m a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and registered yoga teacher in Los Angeles. I specialize in strength and functional training, pre/postnatal training, HIIT (high intensity interval training) and power vinyasa yoga. I have a 12 Week Guide to Wellness that includes 12 weeks of strength training, metabolic conditioning, cardio, yoga, nutrition, recipes and meditation. I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy and during my pregnancy I created The Baby Body, a 35 week prenatal exercise program that includes workout videos suitable for all three trimesters, pelvic floor training videos, a cardio plan and full 35 week follow along calendar.

I have a passion for all things wellness and love being active and traveling. Some of my favorite activities include hiking, sweaty workouts, traveling to new places, and hanging with my family and English Bulldog.

I moved to LA from the suburbs of Atlanta to attend grad school at the University of Southern California. I got my masters degree in journalism (hence my love of writing and creating content). I worked in PR for a few years and while I gained valuable experience, I knew my passion was fitness and nutrition. I left and eventually began my career in the wellness industry. Now most of my days now consist of training clients one on one and sharing my fitness and nutrition content with you guys!

I love to switch up my workout routine to include a variety in my regimen including hiking, strength training, yoga, Pilates, kickboxing and running. One of my philosophies is, "As soon as your body starts to adapt, change the routine and challenge it." My programs follow this philosophy. They allows you to get in an amazing workout while surprising your body every time.
